Wallace Grade School offers four different preschool program options.  These options range from tuition-based regular education programs to intensive special education programs.  Below, you will find information regarding the different programs, including the criteria for enrollment in each of the programs. 

Tuition Preschool: 3-Year-Old (Based on availability)

• This program is open to all 3-year-old students (must be 3 years of age on or before September 1st).  This program is open to in and out of district students.  Please note that priority will be given to students that reside within the district boundaries.  This is a tuition-based program that introduces students to preschool and prepares them for 4-year-old preschool the following year.  Students that attend the 3-year-old preschool program will be given priority when enrolling in the 4-year-old preschool program the following year.  PLEASE NOTE:  Priority placement in our preschool programs will be given to 1) students that reside in the Wallace school district and 2) returning students.  In addition, the date and time of the registration submission will also be used to determine placement based on preference (if applicable).

• Days:  Tuesday & Thursday (2 Days/Week)

• Time:  12:00-2:30 pm

Tuition Preschool: Age Blended - 3 & 4-Year-Old (Based on availability)

• This program is open to all 3 and 4-year-old students (must be 3 years of age on or before September 1st).  This program is open to in and out of district students.  Please note that priority will be given to students that reside within the district boundaries.    This is a tuition-based program that prepares students for their transition to kindergarten.  PLEASE NOTE:  Priority placement in our preschool programs will be given to 1) students that reside in the Wallace school district and 2) returning students.  In addition, the date and time of the registration submission will also be used to determine placement based on preference (if applicable).

• Days:  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (3 Days/Week)

• Time:  12:00-2:30 pm

Developmental Preschool

• This program is open to qualifying 3 and 4-year-old students that live within the district boundaries or are enrolled from another district on a tuition basis.  This program offers our most intensive level of support for students to help prepare them for the next step in their education.  This program is only available for special education students that qualify.  Determination for qualification will be made by the child’s special education team (including parents). 

• Days:  Monday through Friday

• Time: 8:30-11:00 & 12:00-2:30

• Tuition: No Cost

• Transportation: Provided by the school
